Job Description:

Construction Material Testing Branch Manager This position entails overall management of the Dayton, Ohio office but responsible for business development for the state of Ohio. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the list below:

• Responsibility to hire and train personnel.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients.
• Ability to prepare a budget, monitor, and adjust to maximize location’s profit.
• Prepares proposals and manages projects to stay on budget.
• Markets all Patriot’s services and partner with Geotechnical and Environmental Leaders to ensure we are offering all clients the best service.
• Delivers accurate and on time field and laboratory reports.
• Motivates team and holds self and others accountable to deliver results.
• Must have a strong work ethic, high morals & principles.
• Maintenance of AMRL, CCRL and US Army Corps of Engineers accreditations.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree
• Minimum 5 Years of Industry Experience
• Salary will be based on experience and education.
• A good working knowledge of materials testing, and geotechnical engineering is desired.
• Familiarity with Ohio Department of Transportation specifications and methods is preferred.
• Materials expertise in soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate is more important than geotechnical experience.

Technical Requirements:

• Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
• Applicant needs to be able to effectively communicate with clients and ensure that report results are delivered efficiently and accurately.
• A daily focus on Safety for all employees and an understanding of how all services that we offer are for the purpose of keeping the communities that we live in safe every day.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
